Goodbye to Free Windows 7 Download
As of August 20, 2009, Microsoft is ending the free download of Windows 7. As they have said, you can still use your downloaded installers after August 20 of 2009. All beta installations are bound to expire on March 1, 2009, whether you like it or not. Buying a license would be the only option.
So this is it. Though its the end of free downloads on Windows 7, at least they are now ready to release the final version which millions have been waiting for.
